Jefferson-Jackson Day event 2009

We want to remind everyone that the upcoming Jefferson-Jackson Day dinner. The Iowa Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner is our largest event of the year. We are excited this year to welcome Vice President Joe Biden back to Iowa. This will be the first time he has returned to our state since last year’s historic election where Iowans helped deliver him and Barack Obama to the White House.
Proceeds from our JJ Dinner will go to help fund the 2010 Coordinated Campaign. Next year will be a tough year, and it is important that we keep Iowa moving forward by re-electing Governor Chet Culver, defeating Senator Chuck Grassley, re-electing our outstanding Democratic Congressmen, winning back the 4th and 5th Congressional Districts and expanding our majorities in the Iowa House and Senate.
