Curt Hanson Wins House District 90

Curt Hanson was successful in defeating the Republican challenger for the House District 90 seat previously held by John Whitaker [D]. It was a campaign described as a must win for the Democrats, as the Republicans and their conservative supporters, pumped a lot of financial resources into the campaign, in an attempt to be able to say that the voters would now indicate their desire to follow the path of conservative values. I assisted the Jefferson County Democrats for several days in their efforts. I was very impressed with the group that worked to win this special election.
